You Have Beauty Skin Care Products In Your Kitchen!

by Britney Smith

There are many beauty skin care products right in your kitchen. I don't mean that you've been keeping your makeup bag in the refrigerator, or that you forgot your mascara on the kitchen counter. There are actually foods that can be used on your face - used as beauty skin care products!

The beauty skin care products that can be found in your kitchen can do the same things as purchased cosmetics, but at a fraction of the price.

What There Is, Right In Your Kitchen

Some of the beauty skin care products you can make from things in your kitchen are very easy to make. A facial scrub can be made from grapes, simply by taking a handful of grapes and smashing them. After removing the skins, mix the pulp and juice with 1 tablespoon almond flavoring. Apply to the face.

A facial mask can be made from honey and bananas, as long as the bananas are not overripe. Mash up one banana and mix in 3 tablespoons of honey. This makes a good beauty skin care product.

For a beauty skin care product that will soften your skin, just add ¼ cut of honey to your bathwater, and enjoy relaxing in your tub.

Back to your face, it is easy to make an astringent by using an apple or a pear. Just grate a large apple or pear and mix it with a tablespoon of honey.

Aloe vera is a multi-use beauty skin care product. For oily skin, it works well as an astringent. Also, aloe vera gel is terrific for thickening hair. Just massage it onto your scalp. Leave it on for 15 minutes before you rinse it off. Or, you can mix aloe vera gel with glitter to make a softening gel that is very sparkly.

Take a look at your baking soda. Would you even imagine being able to use it to help you get a better head of hair? If you at a teaspoon of baking soda to your shampoo, it will help remove hair-product buildup. You can also use baking soda to help loosen blackheads. If you mix an equal portion of baking soda and water, and rub in into the skin, just let it dry then rinse off. It will do wonders!

Another beauty skin care product you can use from home is a facial exfoliant made from 1 tablespoon of sugar mixed with a few drops of olive oil. It will be sweet and do a terrific job, all in one. If you want to use it to exfoliate your whole body, just mix up a larger quantity.

Note that to any of these you can add a few drops of essential oil in your favorite scent, to personalize the beauty skin care product for you.
