Skin And Body Care

Inexpensive Fresh Handmade All Natural Organic Skin And Body Care

By Amber Anderson

We all want a natural and glowing complexion. Nobody wants lines or wrinkles, or age spots. This is evidenced by the amount of dollar spent every year on cosmetics and miracle creams and lotions. While the cosmetic industry would like you to believe that their product is the "one that works", you can spend a lot of money finding one that truly benefits your particular skin type.

I know that when I walk into a store and shop for a skin care product, I am usually overwhelmed at the selection and the prices. I read the label and read their claims of "no more wrinkles" and "dramatically reduces the signs of aging", etc. then I usually question if it really works. I don't want to spend upwards of $50 and not see any improvements in my skin.

With that in mind, I decided to design a skin care line that is handmade with fresh, natural, organic ingredients. In addition no animal testing involved!

It's important to understand that everything that comes in contact with our body affects our health and the condition of our skin. That's why choosing all natural, organic ingredients in your skin care products is important.

Using fresh all natural, organic ingredients allows me to customize my products for oily, dry and sensitive skin types. Some common ingredients used in ME! BATH TIME products are cranberry seed oil, emu oil, sunflower oil, shea butter, and green tea. Each of these ingredients brings with them unique characteristics. For example cranberry seed oil has omega 6 & 3 and is a great conditioner for the skin and moisture retention. Emu oil is an effective emollient. Rich in omega 3, 6 & 9 and contains "natural" anti-inflammatory properties that can penetrate the skin. It is an excellent skin hydrator, and can act like collegen, plumping the skin cells with moisture and smoothing out tiny lines. Sunflower oil is rich in vitamin A & E. Helps to moisturize regenerate and condition the skin. Good for mature, sensitive and dry skin. It is used as a carrier oil to blend with other "pure" essential oils. Shea butter is an "all natural" product and is one of the butters which contain the antioxidant vitamins A, E, and F in abundance. Because of its healing properties, makes it far superior to cocoa butter and other vegetable butters. Shea butter also contains cinnamic acid, s substance that helps protest the skin from harmful UV rays. It is an effective moisturizer because it contains so many fatty acids which are needed to retain skin moisture and elasticity. Green tea a powerful antioxidant and a potent anti-inflammatory agent thereby reducing inflammation in the skin.

Herbal Skin Care

Look Younger With Herbal Skin Care - 3 Proven Tips
By Evelyn Louise

If you're like me, you're probably interested in using herbal skin care to get rid of wrinkles and look younger. And why not? With all of the toxic chemicals contained in anti-aging cosmetics these days, a safe, herbal treatment for the skin is the only sensible alternative if you care about your long-term health.

I've spent many years researching herbal skin care treatments. In that time, I've noticed that the most effective anti-aging products contain many of the same natural extracts. If you'd like to eliminate those fine lines, firm up sagginess, and restore your complexion to its youthful, vital glow, look for these three key ingredients.

1) Avocado.

Used since ancient times, avocado oil is compatible with our own natural oils, allowing it to deeply penetrate and moisturize our skin. It's rich with vitamins A, C, D, and E, beta-carotene, and many essential proteins, all working to nourish your complexion and promote a healthy appearance.

Even better, avocado oil has been clinically proven to stimulate collagen growth, making this a powerful ingredient for getting rid of wrinkles. Because it's loaded with sterolins, it's helpful in erasing age spots and healing scars, too.

You'll find avocado oil contained in many high quality anti aging treatments.

2) Babbasu.

Babbasu comes from the Babbasu palm in the Amazon region of Brazil. With properties similar to coconut oil, Babbasu serves as an excellent emollient. It works well on either dry or oily skin, soothing and softening without leaving behind a greasy residue.

3) Grapeseed.

Extracted from wine grapes, grapeseed soil contains a high concentration of linoleic acid and natural vitamin E. It's a potent antioxidant and moisturizer, and has been demonstrated to repair the skin around the eyes, and to erase stretch marks.

Now that you've learned about these three natural ingredients, you're ready for the next step. Visit my web site now to learn about the herbal skin care system that's helped me and many of my friends look 10 years younger.
